Panel Design & Fabrication
Lafayette Engineering offers in-house control panel design and fabrication. Warehouse Control System (WCS)
ConveyorWorks is a warehouse control system developed by Lafayette Engineering. It is used to convey items into and out of a distribution center warehouse. ConveyorWorks provides visibility tools, event monitoring, notification tools, load balancing, optimization functionality, interfaces, and configurability for your operation.
Human Machine Interfaces (HMI)
A Human Machine Interface (HMI) is the user interface in a conveyor control system that provides a graphics-based visualization of the material handling system. HMI diagnostics systems provide a beneficial tool to monitor key areas of the conveyor system including programmable logic controllers (PLC), barcode scanners, photo eyes, motors, drives and weigh scales. Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Lafayette Engineering has a staff of engineers with years of PLC programming experience. Our experienced group of highly proficient PLC programmers has developed a programming standard that provides for quick development, quality code, and easy maintenance. Our PLC experience covers most of the available hardware and software programming environments, including Rockwell / Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, GE, Steeplechase, and Siemens.
Computer Aided Design (CAD)
Conveyor system modeling allows us to develop an accurate, high-level layout of the proposed conveyor system, complete with the ability to quickly cut detailed sections for team reviews. Our modeling concepts verify that our system design meets the goals and objectives of our customers. The designers at Lafayette Engineering have extensive experience delivering drafting of CAD technical drawings using AutoCad.
